Meet Forestglen Seth
This is the online home of a truly remarkable stud male, Forestglen Seth. A stunning young male, who from an early age, was destined to become a shining star in the alpaca world. He was born with an extensive pedigree that includes a long list of who's who in modern alpaca genetics. So it is not surprising that he has, with his soft, ultra fine, luxurious medium fawn fleece, won such highly coveted awards and international acclaim.
Forestglen Seth lives in New Zealand, spending six months in the South Island with Waratah Flats Alpaca Stud and six months in the North Island with Qtaz Alpaca Stud, where he has already started to produce some stunning cria and establish his own family dynasty. We are pleased to share his progress with you.

Supreme Champion Huacaya Fleece at International Fleece Show 2008
Forestglen Seth was awarded Supreme Champion Huacaya Fleece at the first International Fleece Show, held in Sydney, Australia in March 2008. A wonderful award in its' own right but for a medium fawn alpaca, this is truly an outstanding achievement.
Mid side sample: 16.8 microns, 2.9 SD, 17.2% C of V and a CF of 100%
Competing amongst 478 fleeces from all around the world, Forestglen Seth's fleece scored a total of 90 points and impressed the judges for it's style and uniformity, and sheer luxury of softness. This was a fantastic achievement for a medium fawn alpaca under the judging eyes of Jill Macleod (Canada) and Cameron Holt (Australia). This was his second fleece, shorn in November 2007, at the age of 20 months.
